A Brief Timeline of My Financial Journey
Early 20s: Learning the Hard Way
In my early 20s, I was working full time but still living paycheck to paycheck. Growing up with tight finances, I felt the need to ‘treat myself,’ leading to overspending on shopping and dining out. With no budget, savings, or financial plan—just credit card debt—I convinced myself that tomorrow’s income would fix today’s mistakes.
Mid 20s: The Turning Point
By my mid-20s, reality hit hard. I realized my habits weren’t sustainable, especially when I couldn’t even afford tuition at the local community college. That wake-up call pushed me to re-evaluate my relationship with money. I dove into personal finance, built a budget, tackled my debt head-on, and slowly started turning things around. It wasn’t easy, but every small step added up to big changes.
Now: Mid 30s & Thriving!
Fast forward to today, I’m debt-free and thriving. My credit cards are paid off, my degree is fully funded, and I’ve built a strong savings. More importantly, I have a financial plan that ensures my money works for me. Now, I’m passionate about helping others take control of their finances—whether it’s managing business cash flow or creating a personal plan for success.
